Leavin on a jet plane

Crap, crap, crap.. We are flying home tomorrow morning. Have I mentioned how much I hate flying with a toddler and how I really wish 3M was here with us? Oh, that's right I have.

Crap, crap, crap.

Wish us luck and good weather as we make our journey home...

Speaking of home, we had a Realtor preview our house for an out of town buyer and he said it was his favorite of all the homes he looked at. His buyers are going to be in town next week and he will be bringing them over.

Crap, crap, crap.

Don't they know that they should have looked at my house while we were gone, not now that we are back and LM can destroy a house in 3.5 seconds. Hrmph.

Doggie door- extremely convenient ways for both the dogs and the boy to make their way ahhside.
Window seat- Perfect for quiet reading or plunging to one's death because it is far too tall to get off of if you are 31 inches tall.

Stairs- nice addition to one's home or perfect place to throw everything you can get your hands on just to learn about cause and effect.

LM Monday #3

Totally not impressed by my Mom's ability to take a picture of us or her attempts at getting me to make a surprise face..

Perhaps it is because she will not let me have coffee...

Judy

Last week (I know, sorry!) I had to mail a package to 3M so I ran to the local post office in the town where my parent's live. I waited on the short line and when it was my turn I approached the counter and met Judy, my postal worker for today's transaction.

After questioning me three times about the contents of my package as I had declared them on the customs form, "snacks and magazines" she kept saying as if on the third time I would actually say "ok, I confess they are naked pictures and lots of twizzlers" which by the way I had neither of in there; sorry to disappoint. After, finally getting the hint that I was sending snacks and magazines she then asked if I was "sure that I wanted them returned to sender if something happened to it". Telling her that it was fine or it could be sent to any service member she began to process my order.

Upon inspecting the box and weighing it she determined that I would be better off not using a flat rate box, which I was using. I thanked her for her concern but seeing as I don't keep a ready stock of shipping boxes in my purse I would be alright with paying the extra fee.

As I stood waiting for her to finish applying the label she began telling me about her twenty year career in the Air Force. She explianed that she was "very patriotic" and served her country with pride. In the next breath she began beratting the war and the fact that we had troops there. Since this is nothing I haven't heard before I tried to politely smile and state that one of the great things about this country is that we are free to voice our opinions and
